I am blind and feel that captures on websites are challenging, difficult to overcome and they should be made easier for visually impaired people or gotten rid of completely. Many Websites are made with many graphics and to add to the accessibility problem is captures that make things unnecessarily challenging. Sighted people can quickly fill in the words that they see and move forward on the task at hand. Us as blind people then have to rely on audio but if the audio provided is so unaudable and just one big noisy mess then it surely loses the point of providing audio. So, we doomed, we can't see the words and we can't hear the audio spoken and what now? That means that I as a blind person can't fill in certain forms, sign up as a member on certain websites. Every website you go to now has a caption when entering forms, whether its to get help from a helpdesk or to sign up for a free account. If these rediculous captures have to be kept then why not do something simple like 9 times 2 or 4 plus 4 and that would be enough and prove that we not robots. We as blind people need to be considered too and I am sure their are other ways of going about it. Please get rid ofthis problem and allow us as visually impaired people to have a good, stressfree experience when trying to fill our information in on websites and I am sure many or all of my fellow blind community would feel the same way and support this cause. I feel strongly about this and something has got to be done to change this.
