Recently, our principal Mr. Jerry Snow was moved to Piedmont Middle School, and replaced with a man named Dr. Adam Clemons. We can't speak for the rest of the students, but we know that we ourselves were looking forward to shaking Mr. Snow's hand at the end of our four years, not a stranger that knows nothing of Piedmont. This petition hasn't been caused just because we love Mr. Snow. We honestly just don't believe that Dr. Clemons is what is best for our school. In the Anniston Star, Dr. Clemons stated, “Kids need to be ready for a career, or kids need to be ready for college." Who says that Mr. Snow wasn't helping us to that? We believe that, for our school, we need OUR principal. So far, this school year hasn't been that great. And you all know why. So why don't we at least try to get our principal back? We can't give up.
