Northern Irish Steeplechaser Kerry O'Flaherty has been cruelly denied a place in the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Team despite having secured all the required times and rankings. The team are taking lesser ranked players in other sports out to The Gold Coast, but one of the country's best athletes is being left at home. Kerry also helped set the targets and rankings for places but she is now left at home.
