- It has come to my attention recently that our most favorite security guard, John, was fired for “not doing his job.” I feel the need to take action or at least get some sort of explanation for how another security guard, ( we all know who) gets to call a girl an inappropriate and derogatory name just for moving a parking cone, (not to mention speaks to students in a disrespectful and rude manner) yet still gets to keep his job, while John (who has always treated each student with kindness and respect) gets fired. I hope the school can see just how much we value John’s contribution to our school community and how we stand against the unfair termination of one security guard, while a disrespectful and rude one remains.

The administration has acknowledged the receipt of our petition but they have declined to provide a formal explanation regarding the decision. It is clear that our collective persistence remains necessary to obtain the transparency this situation requires.

please dont do this john he is soo nice when i got my knee surgery he asked me about it and showed me he cared and he is an amazing guard
We understand there are probably valid reasons but we are looking for a sincere and compassionate explanation to a school community that values him as a member and friend.
John was always so kind to me and treated me like an adult and not a child like some other security guards
I have so much respect for John as a human being in general. Everytime i walked into school looking sorta bummed up or upset, he would always ask me if i was okay which is a question you rarely hear from anyone who works at this school. He had genuine conversations with kids. U wanna fire someone, go fire joey that man is so rude and disrespectful. Bring john back
John was a sweet and kind security guard and this was very unwarranted. Hearing all the stories from fellow students about how kind he was to them, I think that is doing your job as a security guard, and not yelling at them or calling people derogatory names.
Bring John back!
John was always very nice to me and always looked out for me. And since he knew my brothers he treated me like a brother and he was like family to me hopefully he can come back!!

John always treated me with respect and kindness, he reminded me to lock my car every morning for 2 years straight. He always asked how I am, he talked about his kids and how proud he was to be a father. He treated out options students with respect. By far he is the kindest security guard we have, and in all situations I would trust him with my safety!
