Belle started posting cosplay photos on her Facebook when she was 14 and when she turned on the follower option she grew to over 100,000 followers over the next 2 to 3 years. She described her follower base as mostly girls at the time. Years later after buying a campervanand traveling around France for a month, Belle decided to pursue a career in the online world. When she was 18, Belle decided to move her work to Instagram and began posting NSFW content.
This NSFW content is what landed her in trouble recently, after somebody anonymously reported her account for ‘nudity or pornography’. Due to the nature of her posts, her entire account was taken down.
I, as well as many others, believe that this is unfair as Belle has worked hard to build up her over 4 million followers, only to have it taken away. We feel that Belles account was unfairly labelled as ‘pornographic’, as there is no full nudity at all- simply just modelling. The closest thing to nudity was Belle being down to her underwear.
So many women are having posts deleted for ‘nudity’ for showing cleavage, posting bikini pictures etc. It is unfair to censor people’s bodies, and to label posts as pornographic.
Yes, Belles posts are rather suggestive, but none of them show explicit nudity. We should bring her account back.
