The lovely safeguarding team have decided that in return for our lovely snow day that we A) didn’t choose to have and B) were set work on , so it was just as bad as any normal school day , should be rewarded with one less inset day than normal . This is terribly unfair and unnecessary as we quite literally still had a school day just at home . Once the petition reaches enough signatures it will be sent to Mr Charles or one of the other superheros from the safeguarding team

Reaching one hundred signatures feels like a heavy weight being acknowledged by everyone here. It is exhausting to keep explaining why losing that day is wrong but knowing you are behind me helps keep the momentum alive. We will keep pushing until someone finally listens to us.

I don't think it's that fair to be honest because we got work on the snow day, if we got no work on those days than I would be completely fine with this.
All the students in the entire school want an inset day, so why not just give us an extra one? The safeguarding team say they want to keep us happy, so they they can do that by giving us an extra inset day.
We missed and inset day, we still got set work, and we had to do it, we want the inset day back for benift of students and teachers
we have three days worth of work when we would only have had 3. we didn’t chose this, in no way have we benefited from this as we had more work than we would usually do in a lesson but it was all useless.

I would really appreciate it if the inset day could be moved back because we already have plans and my daughter is getting quite overwhelmed with all the work set
