Get a third road off of Canvey Island

How long are we going to have to wait we have suffered for absolutely years

Try and try again! If we give up, it will never be put in place?

Please do now allow any more homes to be built on this beautiful island before a new road is built. Look at recent events that would inhibit islanders getting off the island in an emergency

We really need this road.

God forbid a flood or exrrene accident occurs! We'd never get off island. The traffic is a joke in mornings and all the hses & flats due to be built, will mean more vehicles.

Desperately needed

I think we should start charging a surcharge for non Island residents who move to Canvey to fund the road building - this is something the Council could do. Either two things will happen, in about 10 years we might have enough money to seriously start the talks to receive central Government funding or b) people will stop wanting to move to the Island so we will slow the increase in traffic that way. But either way, without an EU funded program, we will never get £70m from Central Government in the next 10 years

Build the road

Traffic getting worse only takes a minor incident and late again I travel widely and don't come across these problems elsewhere

Need new road urgently to get of island

Have lived on Canvey for over 50 years and it gets worse every day.

The traffic is terrible getting on and off peak times and also weekends too.

Fed up of sitting in traffic due to incidents off the island. The pollution levels and economy need a 3rd road.
