Mamaroneck finally caved and the park is actually happening. We took the streets back from the local authorities and forced them to stop treating us like criminals. Keep your eyes on the project site to make sure they stick to their word.

The local board continues to ignore us while they ticket kids for simply existing in public spaces. I am tired of being treated like a criminal for wanting a place to skate in my own town.

Yes pls. skating isnt a crime.
Ridiculous that we have nowhere to go. Always getting chased off by cops just for trying to skate. We need a spot.
Finally. Tired of getting ticketed for nothing. A park is long overdue in this town.
It keeps kids out of trouble and gives them something to do. Why is this so hard for the town to understand.

My son loves skating but nowhere safe to practice. Stop treating these kids like criminals for having a hobby.
