We the students of the University System of Georgia petition the State Legislature and the Office of the Governor for full funding of the of the USG 2013 formula. We, the more than 300,000 students within the system are the future of innovation and job creation within the state. We are the future leaders, doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists, teachers, business men and women. The USG stands at the forefront of academic excellence in the United States and makes Georgia a model for other states to follow. We encourage the State to take the educational system and place it at the top of its policy and budgetary considerations. Let's regain the position where Georgia has a preeminent educational system within the United States.
