The author of this petition has been blessed to have been reunited with her birthmother and the SIX children she had subsequently, and cannot imagine having gone through life not knowing them- especially after having grown up alone, abused and isolated in her adoptive environment. But there remains a father and three more brothers whose identities are a state secret- secrets which are of benefit to no one but adoptive parents- many of whom are deceased. Furthermore, there is a class action lawsuit that will be launched in the near future, on the grounds that ALL adoptees not granted access to their original birth records have automatically been issued a DEATH SENTENCE without DUE PROCESS OF LAW! Ask a lawyer! This fact alone is enough to open records across the board! Meaning, that without updated medical history, we are at risk for any genetic timebombs that may be ticking away inside us. How many lives have already been lost because of this Forget the emotional side, that can and will always be challenged. Leave aside the \"rights\" argument.
