I have been busy collecting all these notes people are leaving and honestly it is just overwhelming to see so many folks agreeing that the girls should have been allowed to show their steers. I am planning to bring every single one of these printed pages to the fairboard office soon because they need to see that this is not going away just because they decided to hide the public comments section.

What happened to free speech? Those girls were just trying to do the right thing and be role models for the other kids. Leave them alone.
Ridiculous behavior from the fair board. Let the girls show their steers.
This is ridiculous. Kids today are taught to stand up for what they believe in but when they actually do it they get punished? Shame on the board.
MY SON IS IN 4H AND WE SUPPORT THESE GIRLS 100%. THEY HAD THE COURAGE TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES AND THAT SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED NOT SHUT DOWN.
So unfair. Those steers looked great and the message was positive. Our county needs to get its priorities straight.

Total overreaction. They didnt hurt anybody. Just let them compete.
