I as a taxpaying citizen of Gates County am against the building of a new library at this time. I feel it would be in the best interest of all citizens in today’s economy to move our current library to another established building. I also feel we should begin a library fund in which money will be set aside each year until we as a county, can afford this type of expenditure.

Ridiculous to spend all that money when there are plenty of empty buildings already. Fix up an old one and save us the taxes.

we dont need a big fancy new building. times are tough enough as it is. just use what we got and save the money for later.
