I propose for the gradual lowering of the speed limit upon entering Gardnerville from the south starting at 45mph at the Corley Ranch and 35 mph by the 7-11 continuing on until the 25mph speed limit just passed the car wash. This should be mimicked on the southbound lanes as well - 35mph, 45mph then 55mph at the Corley Ranch.
It has become increasingly dangerous for drivers & pedestrians along this corridor while pulling in and out of businesses and accessing the hospital. This area will surely become more dangerous with the future addition of Walmart.
Please help prevent future tradgedies by electronically signing this petition which will be presented to the city counsel in the near future. Your support is imperative.

WE HAVE OFFICIALLY REACHED A HUGE TURNING POINT FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR ROADS!! SEEING SO MANY NEIGHBORS JOIN THIS FIGHT PROVES THAT OUR COMMUNITY IS READY TO DEMAND SAFER SPEEDS AROUND THE HOSPITAL AND CORLEY RANCH!! THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC AND I AM SO PROUD OF WHAT WE ARE BUILDING TOGETHER!!

DANGEROUS!!! I avoid that whole stretch because traffic is crazy. Especially with the new store coming it is going to be a total disaster.
people fly down that road way to fast. pulling out of the 7-11 is a nightmare half the time. fix it before a kid gets hit.
