Gail Cochrane was sentenced to 5 years in prison after been caught with a German pistol in her house that she kept as a reminder of her late Navy World War II veteran father John. Police found the gun while looking for her son as he did not attend court police did not have a search warrant and Gail freely let them search her home of course she didn’t know she needed a licence for what she described as a significant trophy of war Sentence was very harsh and Gail’s family and especially her grandchildren are left devastated please sign this petition to support Gail on her appeal.
