Subject: Future Chevy SS Owners Want A Manual Option Now Hi, We, prospective future owners of the much anticipated 2014 Chevy SS performance sedan, respectfully request that in light of the decision to build-to-order, buyers be given the opportunity to select the option of a manual transmission. We feel the lack of a manual 6 speed or 7 speed is a potential deal-killer for a great many enthusiasts. That's why I created a petition to Mark Reuss, GM President Of North America, which says: "Chevy has announced that the much anticipated 2014 Chevy SS performance sedan will only be sold on a build-to-order basis. In light of this we need the option of selecting a manual transmission. Since the car is built to order on the same line as its Holden counterpart, which has an optional manual, we believe ours is a reasonable request." Thanks!
