WHY SHOULD THE TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD
PROVIDE OUR NEIGHBORS WITH PUBLIC WATER
AND FORCE US TO PAY FOR PRIVATE WATER???
Legislator Denenberg and Claudia Borecky, President of the North and Central Merrick Civic Association, with help from local civics, fire districts and the community, demanded that the Towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay reconstitute a water authority to study the feasibility of a public takeover of Aqua!
1-1/2 YEARS LATER
AND NOTHING IS DONE!!
IT'S NOT FAIR!!
25 OUT OF 32 SCHOOL DISTRICTS
that Aqua customers pay taxes to have PUBLIC WATER!!
WE’RE PAYING 3X AS MUCH FOR PRIVATE WATER!
Why should we pay taxes to school districts that have public water?
We demand public water and we demand that the Towns pay for the feasibility study!
We, the undersigned, urge
MURRAY AND CULLIN
to FUND the FEASIBILITY STUDY
so that we can benefit from the
LOW COST OF PUBLIC WATER
YOUR SIGNATURE WILL HELP!!
Please forward this to your friends....
Thank you!
