The park needs security to keep it open what a brilliant amenity to have but what a disgrace it is to have hooligans destroy it for everyone else it's time they were put in their place

Either provide security to protect people from the scumbag element or shut the park down to the public. There is a serious problem with drinking, drugs and violence in this public park.

This was my favourite park but had to stop coming here because of the teens a couple of mths ago.I dont mind paying to get in if I thought my children would be safe

Park is a wonderful resource, please don't allow a tiny minority of scum to ruin it for everyone. I'd happily pay a euro or two per visit to have security there.

I also have special needs children but this has really upset me and to think has happen to a vulnerable person is shocking.
All parks should have two attendants/security on at all times in this day nd age

It's awful what happened to Eoin. The park in graiguecullen has been ruined by these gangs of youths. I no longer bring my children there to play. It was once a lovely Park with a beautiful walk way, somewhere to feed the ducks and pass the time away. Now it's a dangerous place. This needs to stop. Please employ people to secure the area. Make it safe again.

Disgusting. What was made to be a fun area for people of all ages to relax is now a cesspool full of scum and degenerates. We were promised security and cameras back last year. Where are they? How much will be enough, how much before they wake up and bring the security back?

We were in this part in September 2016. What a beautiful amenity it is for the people of both Graiguecullen and Carlow, as well as visitors. The swans are definitely a gift to the town and the Barrow. I was shocked at the assault on Eoin Harte, and I'm sure others have been assaulted too. The Harte are a well loved long standing Graigue family, and Eoin well a well known individual, he has enough to contend with without having to fear his freedom. I have all my family in the area, and they too frequent the park. I hope for all of their safety something is done to protect them and all the patrons of Carlow town park.
