Our town park needs security, we need to feel safe using this park. It is disgraceful what happened to Eoin, this situation could have been much worse.

So much time, energy, work, and money went into that park - it should be a joy to pass through, or spend time in. It should NOT be a place to fear and avoid.. The powers that be, need to stand up, and make it safe again.

It is shocking that our beautiful park is not safe.We need one or two wardens during opening hours and cameras that really are switched on and are recording.

I don't know what to write here, I can not express my anger enough. I have worked with Eoin and shared lots of laughs with him as I do with all my friends, and I not seem to except that there is people in this world not matter what age they are would do that to someone like Eoin. I hope they are publicly naked and shamed, for those of you that do not have the pleasure of knowing Eoin he is the heart of the community has the beautiful gift of shining light on everyone's life that are lucky to know him . I know this will just make him stronger

There should be cctv at the carlow town park and mayb all over the park that way people will b safe from scumbags like the youths that mugged poor Eoin harte he did not deserve that

Just heard about this today, don't know if security in the town park alone will be enough if there are people out there who will stoop so low as to attack a vulnerable person like Eoin..
