As parent of a student at the University of Central Florida, I feel truly grateful that a very brave young man didn't flee from what could have been a horrific and tragic event. This young man stepped into the common area of his dorm room only to find his roommate wielding a gun after pulling the fire alarm with intent to massacre as many people as possible. Arbo slammed his door into his bedroom ducked behind the dresser in his room and called 911 to report the situation. The overwhelming response by emergency personnel prompted the potential gunman to abruptly terminate his plan and sadly enough take his own life. I do believe that Arbo's quick actions saved countless lives and he is extremely deserving of a full scholarship from UCF for the remainder of his years at the school.
