They actually backed off and the harassment has stopped completely. I am honestly in shock but it proves that when we push back together these people have to listen to us. I will be keeping a very close eye on how they treat the local spots from here on out …

I honestly never thought this would turn into such a big movement but looking at the feedback lately it feels like the whole town is finally waking up to what is happening at the restaurant. It is wild really because I just wanted to stop the harassment and now it feels like we might actually have the leverage to get the city council to listen for once.

My husband and I go here about once a month and meet up with friends, have a few drinks and enjoy the music and atmosphere! It is our favorite local spot and would hate to see it go!
How do we elect someone who is not a resident of Flagler Beach nor have they ever lived here to Run Flagler Beach? This is only one example of the major issues that we are facing, we also have the farmers market to protect as well as parking. I'm signing this petition not only because I believe/support this business and what the owner is trying to bring to this small town but also because I am a member of this community and believe in preserving what makes it the best place to live and raise my family.
I can think of some other places that should be shut down way before Fuego! Seriously City of Flagler don't be stupid! Fuego has a great atmosphere and needs to stick around! If you shut them down we will have to take our money to Daytona or St Augustine and support those Cities. Why would you want that?!?!
Live in Flagler County and have two restaurants in Volusia County. Love what Flagler Beach is doing with the beach side, as it is becoming like New Smyrna Beach. The businesses and restaurants help the local economy by attracting people who spend money, providing jobs, pay taxes and keep the economy going. .
My husband and I had decided to stop by Fuegos, their fire pit looked very inviting on a chilly evening. Patrons were enjoying themselves when a couple of police cruisers arrived. No one had been disorderly, so we were a little puzzled. We watched 4 officers talking with the owner, and then just walking around the restaurant. It turned a pleasant evening into an uncomfortable one. But we will go back. we enjoy it there, the service is great along with the food.
It's obvious a lot of jealousy abounds here instead of people being happy for others who make a success out of an eyesore building, become a contributing member of the town and a charity organizer. being successful, contributing to the town and becoming a large charity organizer. It's sad when small minded people small minded politicians!

I personally have seen all of this mentioned personally. I have been employed there since day one and know about the great controversy however I still support this place as an individual of flagler county.
