Petition for Frontier Nursing Services an all buildings an property of Frontier Nursing service to remain in Hyden Kentucky where it was founded. Our Mountain Heritage should stay with us.
I just looked at the count and we are just hovering under that first hundred mark so someone please post this link on their feed right now because we really need the extra eyes on this before the weekend hits. It really bothers me thinking about our history just vanishing like that so let's just push this out to a few more people while the momentum is actually here.

Never, EVER, should any part of any building or fixture that Mary Breckinridge comandeered from all over the United States and world to bring to Wendover, be removed and relocated. Blood, sweat and tears of workers from Leslie County built it all. It would be saccriligious to move one stick of it.

Everything needs to stay as is. Mary Breckenridge could have located her life's mission anywhere in the world. She chose Hyden, KY. It is bad enough to take births from the hospital that bears her name. This is unbelievable that it would even be a thought.

These are more than buildings they are apart of everyone living in this community my entire generation was born in the MB hospital. And furthermore Mary Breckenridge chose to serve the folks in this area she set up her home here she loved this community and as you can see the community loves and remembers her.

You can take FNU as a campus in Versailles is already in the works and near completion, but leave the chapel, the window, and the Big House. These are historic places that belong where they were always intended to be. They're too important to Leslie Countians to watch you cart all or parts of them away without a fight.

Now what purpose would Versailles have to remove something from here and move there. If it's not broke don't fix it. How many people there is going to appreciate FNS history. NONE. Come here and visit our history, If you move it there where is the FNS history?
