Front Desk Safety
To Debi Bishop and Julie Walker,
We , the workers at the Front Desk of Hilton Hawaiian Village, are very concerned about the lack of cooperation from higher management to come to a consensus with the union regarding a meeting to talk about concerns for the safety and welfare of us workers.
We are on the frontline and majority of the time, the first contact with guest. Show us a little compassion by meeting and listening to our suggestions to make us feel safe and put our minds at ease. If we feel safe, the guest will also. As a quote from Richard Branson states, owner of Virgin Airlines, “ Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of you.” It shows in the employees when you fly their airlines.
