The use of our Sixth Form Study Room as an exam hall has caused much annoyance and frustration to Year 12 & 13 students trying to study for A Levels.
The room was designed to be used as a study room not an exam hall, hence the lack of doors and the open-plan design.
The addition of doors has meant that the room can now be used as an exam hall, which is not acceptable.
We want this room back as a STUDY ROOM not anything else, we have had enough of being disrupted in the most important educational years of our lives.
Frome College has many spaces that could be used an exam, and the school coped without the Futures Study Room for years prior. There is no excuse for this and we want our study room back.

The school administration remains silent despite our complaints about the blocked access to our study space. Send an email to the headteacher today demanding they honor the original purpose of the room. We need more people to post this link on their social media until they provide us with a response.

Please keep this serious I'm very passionate about my education,a shame to see it's wasted on plebeians such as yourself
The situation is completely unacceptable and needs to be sorted immidiately. This issue has been highlighted by previous leadership teams and has been ignored, let alone justified.
There's plenty of other space around the college that they could use, rather than disrupting our mocks and exams...
I don't use the room much but since the sixth form block is supposed to be a higher calibre of learning for A-Level students they should have an area which could be their 'safe zone' for studying.
There are many other areas that could be used and restricting our access to the study room not only stops us from using the room, but the computer room also as many flock to the computer room making it over crowded as a result.
