We as citizens of LA County want to reverse the LA County Board of Supervisors Decision to remove footballs and frisbees from the beaches of Los Angeles County.

We residents understand that there may be a need to address the nature of play at the beaches in regards to safety and use of appropriate locations for the use of sporting equipment with specific regard to footballs, frisbees or baseballs.

Yet the new regulations remove from our storied and world renowned Southern Californian Beaches the Frisbee, a tradition and icon of our culture.

The solution is not the complete elimination of such a popular recreation but finding zones so all patrons can use our beaches.

Lets work together to find a better solution for everyone through the year regardless of the seasons.

Lets return the beaches to the people that made them famous and still allow for the safety of everyone.

Thank You

The Board of Supervisors is ignoring our calls, so we need to dial up the pressure. Email your local representative today and demand designated zones for frisbee play on our coast.

The momentum behind this effort proves that our beach culture is worth fighting for. Take this link and post it to your Facebook page right now so we can keep this pressure on the Board of Supervisors. Email your local representative today and demand they support designated play zones.

This is ridiculous. People have been throwing frisbees on these beaches for decades without any major issues. Stop punishing everyone because of a few bad apples.

LA beaches without frisbees? Might as well just close them down. Just make some designated areas if you have to but dont ban it entirely.
