LSL is one of 8 Student Success Center programs threatened by budget cuts in 2009-10 even though we log in more than 11,500 student visits a year. Located in AT 304, The Listening & Speaking Lab is represented by a community of learners who come together to share their cultures and ideas while improving their English fluency at the same time. Students leave LSL with the confidence and basic skills to navigate their required classes and to become more active as participants in the communities where they live and work. LSL is open to all students. Please show your support by letting De Anza students, instructors, staff, and administrators know how necessary LSL programs are to the academic achievement of our students.

The lab is the only reason I feel comfortable talking in class. Its way more than just a room. Keep it open!

De Anza needs to get their priorities straight. Stop taking away the resources students actually use.

11,000 visits speak for themselves. Why cut what actually works?
