The residents of Redwood Meadows are appalled by the heinous act of destruction to the Tsuu T’ina flag flying in Redwood Meadows. We, the residents, do not condone this violent and disrespectful crime and call on all levels of Police enforcement and Government to do whatever possible to bring the person or persons responsible to justice. Our hope is that the people of Tsuu T’ina Nation accept this offer of friendship and solidarity and understand that the actions of this one person or persons does not in any way reflect the deep respect that we the undersigned have for our First Nations neighbours and the relationship that we have forged with them over the years.

Total disrespect. Hope the people of Tsuu T'ina know most of us are on their side.
So ashamed that this happened in our community. We need to be better than this.
