We, the undersigned, strongly condemn Chihana's recent statements that have incited tribal discrimination and hatred against the Chewa tribe and culture. As a leader, it is their responsibility to promote unity, understanding, and respect among all citizens, regardless of their tribal background.
Chihana's divisive rhetoric has no place in our society and undermines the principles of equality, justice, and human rights. Such harmful language can lead to violence, marginalization, and exclusion of already vulnerable communities.
As such,
1. We demand that Chihana retract their statements and issue a public apology to the Chewa tribe.
2. We call on Chihana to commit to promoting inclusivity and respect for all tribes.
3. We urge Government and all concerned NGOs to take concrete actions to address this act of tribal discrimination and ensure accountability.
