We, the undersigned represent the overwhelming majority's sentiment among the current student body, faculty, staff, alumni, Board of Trustees of Howard University and the greater Washington, D.C. community at large. It is our belief that Dr. Wayne Frederick is without question the best imaginable leadership to usher Howard University into the 21st century and beyond. Dr. Frederick's resume is stellar and above reproach. Dr. Frederick's record of service as the 17th President of Howard University is one of the highest level of pride and honor. His love for Howard is unquestionable. Wayne Frederick is one of The Hilltop's brightest rays of light to ever shine from its Capstone. We, the undersigned refuse to have our support of Dr. Frederick be silenced by a cowardly assailant, not even bold enough to signed the propaganda they chose to erroneously authored, with the expressed intent to besmirch the reputation of a good and decent man.
We, the undersigned reject any reports to the contrary of the level of competence, vision, fitness to serve and/or integrity of Dr. Wayne Frederick. Since his initial indoctrination into the Howard University ecosystem in 1988, Wayne Frederick has been a credit to the legacy of Howard University and has done everything in his power to build upon Howard University's 150 year mission of serving as an institution of higher learning that is "committed to continuing to produce leaders for America and the global community."
We, the undersigned are more than satisfied with the current and future trajectory of Howard University, as laid out by Dr. Wayne Frederick. We are fully committed to supporting the long-tail strategic approach to ensuring the future sustainability of Howard University over our next 150 years.
We, the undersigned have complete confidence in the Howard University and the Board of Trustees - whose membership stand firmly behind their UNANIMOUS decision to select Dr. Wayne Frederick as the 17th President of Howard University on July 21, 2014.
We, the undersigned make our individual sentiments publicly known collectively in this forum. The inclusion of any and all signatures deposited here were signed by actual NAMED individuals of sound mind and body, free of request from Dr. Wayne Frederick, The Howard University Board of Trustees or any entity tethered to Howard University in any official capacity.

we just hit 250 signatures and it is honestly wild to see so many people stepping up to back dr frederick. im really grateful to everyone who jumped in early to protect his reputation when things were looking tough. this support makes it clear that we wont let anyone tear down what he has built for howard.

we are almost at 100 signatures and i want to hit that mark fast so the message is clear. keep pushing this around because the people who need to see our support are definitely looking at the count right now.

Dr. Frederick brings intellect, passion, purpose for his alma mater. What he also brings is the ability to separate emotion from institutional decision making. Better key parts survive than the whole thing collapse as a result of sentimentality.
I am a proud Citizen of Trinidad and Tobago and Alum of HU. My daughter was in the class of 2015 and continues at HUin graduate school. I am proud of what Dr. Frederick is seeking to accomplish and I will hold him in prayerful support
In my opinion Dr. Frederick is doing a great job and needs to continue to Captain the Mecca. It's a tough job as our University tackles financial and capital challenges and he is making some tough and necessary decisions to get our house in order and hold everyone accountable.
President Frederick has my fill support - I trust his judgment, leadership skills and character. He has engaged alumni community at record levels - He is the only reason I am pledging $1 million (over several years) to the university.
Being that the no confidence vote was taken without proper quorum and wasn't initially presented on the agenda it seems that there is political mischief going on with the faculty representatives. Are they for progressive change or their own political gain???

Dr. Frederick has done wonderful things on campus to address student concerns, improve graduation rates and insure students success at Howard University. He has our full support and we look forward to continued improvement at Howard University under his tenure as president.
