This camp ground is a part of my childhood. This was the one place I could go and see my dads side of the family. It was the time of every year I always looked forward to. I have long life time memories built inside of this campground. I constantly think about my memories held here. Please keep it open!!!!

Virginia is to busy providing free healthcare for illegals. Every time they spend money on non citizens it cuts into services for American citizens.

Many people, including my family, were forced to give up their homes for these areas to be formed. If the Forest Service does not want to maintain these areas, volunteers can do the job. We live in and care for these areas and should be allowed to keep them from growing up.

As a child we camped at Cane Patch, had our birthday parties there and spent a lot of time walking the park. I would love to see it kept up for future generations.

The playground area and picnic area was lost years ago and to this day is still a disgrace. Don’t make a poverty area lose anymore of their opportunities for affordable family activities . Repair and open Cane Patch Camp Ground and facilities!
