We the undersigned are opposed to the construction/implementation of the proposed Frenchman's Bay Harbour entrance in Pickering at a cost of $9 million. We feel the current design of the proposed Harbour entrance is too expensive for taxpayers, and it will have negative impacts on the environment and on the West Shore Community. We support a safe harbour entrance into Frenchman's Bay, however we feel there are more cost effective ways to achieve a safe entrance without negatively impacting the environment or the community. We ask that the Harbour detail design is redesigned with continual consultations with the community.

9 million is absolute insanity. who even came up with this budget?? leave the bay alone and stop throwing our property taxes into the water.

Living on west shore we deal with enough noise and traffic as it is. this project is way to big for what we actually need right now. rethink the design.
