The BC Human Rights Tribunal has ordered a Comedian to pay a Heckler $15,000 in damages for emotional suffering caused by what the Comedian said to the Heckler. The Heckler, who insulted and threw 2 glasses of water in the Comedian's face, said that the insults from the Comedian left her with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder! Really?

The BC Human Rights absurdly agreed and ordered the Comedian to pay the Heckler $15,000 and also fined the bar where the Comedy Show was taking place $7,500

This ruling is in direct violation of our rights as Canadians and Perfomers under the Canada Charter and is being challenged in the Supreme Court of Canada. Let's send a clear message that we as Canadians, even if we don't agree with what you are saying, agree with your right to say it.

This decision sets a very dangerous precident for all Canadians and especially our men and women in the Comedy Profession.
