Email your local labor representative today and demand they update professional dress codes to reflect our modern reality. Ridiculous that I have to hide my art just to pay bills. Its just ink!
My ink doesn't effect my job performance at all. Employers need to get with the times and stop being so uptight about stuff that doesnt matter.

I find it is discrimination against an individual. Even despite tattoos and piercings, you still can't judge a person accurately. The only exception I would have where a company should get upset is perhaps if the tattoo is religious, has nudity, or offensive language. Regardless, I'm more in favor of allowing tattoos and piercings than not. It's art, not murder.
