The clemency order for Zantwan Worthy has been signed and he is coming home. Our legal team is now coordinating with the facility to finalize the release logistics. We will continue monitoring the transition process until he is back with his family.

Hello, I am writing to get support for Mr. Zantwan Worthy, who is in need of signatures to get the Clemency from President Obama. Mr. Worthy has served right at 10 years for a kilogram of cocaine which normally is a 3-4 year sentence.. Mr. Worthy has given back to the community in Greensboro NC, with Stop The Violence Annual, Sponsored Warnersville Recreation Center, Dudley High School Basketball, Smith High School Basketball, both modeling troupes on NC A&T State University Verge and Couture, hosted events all over town from Basketball Tournaments, Fashion Shows, Talent Shows, 102jamz, TV Shows and party's to name a few. He is also a college graduate from NC A&T with a major in Technology. This man has did more then his time, but has been given an enhance sentence which has tripled his time. He is a great person and if u agree that his 15 year sentence should be Pardon then please help by signing this petition so that he can come home to his family.
There are murderers and rapist getting less time then this man and he doesn't have a violent offense. This petition does not cost you anything to sign so lets show him some love and help bring him home. Mr. Worthy is a father and this situation has took him from his daughter for 10 years and he will never get back this time.

We are not saying Mr. Worthy should not serve time for selling drugs, we are saying he should not have to serve more time for a crime that does NOT fit that punishment. I am currently finalizing the formal clemency application to ensure every detail of the sentencing discrepancy is documented for legal review. The next step involves submitting these materials directly to the Office of the Pardon Attorney to begin the formal petition process.

I had the pleasure of meeting Zantwan at A&T. He is a very well educated man & extremely active in the community. I have also attended many of his FREE events where he has given out food, supplies, etc. I pray that he gets released to his family & friends that love & miss him.
I believe that Zantwan should be pardoned because he has more than served his time. Allow him to come home to his family and start his work in the community and give back.Give him the opportunity to be a father to his only daughter.
I remember being young and attending his stop the violence events as well as parties from Rio to dizzy gs his events kept us entertained productive and out and off the sts he deserves to be free
Mandatory sentencing laws are very outrageous for non-violent crimes. There are rapists and murderers that are not doing this much time Behind Bars for their brutal and heinous crimes in law. But we give a man who was only trying to feed his family triple the sentence of a rapist or murderer.
Great guy done alot for the community and is better suited being free to help other young kids than being behind bars some people need to be locked away however zantwan has alot of respect around the community not from fear but from being known of bringing the community together

Zantwan is family man. He helped alot of people in Greensboro, NC. He has feed the whole city and helped with school supplies for kids who parents couldnt buy them school stuff. People and kids looked up to him. He is missed in his hometown. Free him!! He has done more then enough time.
