Why FreeWorldBoss? Since 2006 Vybz Kartel has played a role in the dancehall music we enjoy. Having written extensively for Bounty Killer and becoming the youngest dancehall artist to receive the Deejay of the Year award Vybz has proven his value to the Dancehall Music Industry. As his solo career began to soar, so did his feuds and an absence from a concert in 2009 caused Vybz to recently be ordered to pay 15 Million JA dollars to promoter Alton Salmon. This however is not the height of the legal woes for Mr Adidja “Vybz Kartel” Palmer. He is currently facing 5 charges and 2 murder cases for which evidence has been found on one of his complexes in Havendale St. Andrew According to reports this is what prompted the raids on his hotel and residences resulting in his arrest and charges laid for possession of marijuana on September 29th 2011. To alleviate the critiques they are sure to receive from fans the authorities have been careful to announce that the investigation into Vybz' alleged involvement is just the first in a series of investigations into artists connected with murders in JA. This was stated in October of 2011. Let's see how long it takes before they "investigate" any other artists. When all is said and done we are of the opinion that Vybz Kartel is and has been for a long time the target of a long-standing system of Kangeroo courts and a justice of convenience. Evidenced by the seizure of his property including his 2010 Mercedes Benz S-Class under the new Proceeds of Crime Act, it would appear that Vybz Kartel is a hitman, for this is the only occupation by which he the proceeds for his Benz could have come since he is not facing drug charges. It is ridiculous to think that a person of such notoriety would have such an occupation, so I am hard pressed to find the reason for the seizures. As Vybz faces these various charges and the possible withdrawal of sponsor LIME for his hit TV show "Di Teacha's Pet" We the fans stand behind him. We proclaim the innocence of Vybz Kartel and support the ongoing fight to rid him of these trumped up charges laid by instruments of a government long known for it's hypocritical attitude towards the people they consider societies undesirables. We condemn the continuous oppression of the poor through systems and beliefs that make it criminal to find a way out of misery and suffering and glories their suit and tie double speak.
