Please leave the courtyard alone!! It's a beautiful spot in a very large high school. It allows for a mental break for many students and teachers alike! Leave the woods in The Woodlands!!!

This court hard was a huge part of my high school experience i had many or lunch’s with my friends on nices day it was a very calming feeling it would be a shame for kids to loose that

Not only would it get so ridiculously hot with concrete and turf, but all the little turf bits would get all over the school. One of The best parts of the WOODlands high school is our beautiful courtyard. Please don’t take away the small bit of nature we get while being stuck here for eight hours a day.

As a TWHS alumni, I would hate to see the green spaces removed. It’s literally a breath of fresh air to be outside. Renovate whatever you want inside, but the green spaces need to stay! As a student who contributed when another student died to a memorial in the courtyard, it seems wasteful to just get rid of it and disappointing to see students memory destroyed like that..

as a alumni of the Woodlands high school, the courtyard was a monumental part of my high school experience and gave me an outlet to decompress during the day. I believe that removing this takes away reconnecting with the outside world while you’re in a very stressful environment in high school. Taking this away would be a disservice to the current students and students to come.

Turf has a high risk of flooding, it gets extremely hot in the sun, and can track turf beads throughout the school, making the custodial staff’s job even more difficult. In addition, turf could destroy what little biodiversity is in the existing courtyard, including flowers, bees, butterflies, and birds.
