The feedback from wine enthusiasts across the state reinforces the necessity of changing our current shipping laws. I am actively researching the legislative landscape to determine the most effective approach for advocating on your behalf.

The growing momentum behind this petition highlights a clear demand for modernizing our wine shipping laws. It is encouraging to see this many people advocate for the simple right to have products delivered to their homes.

Would love to have wine mailed to my wife as a gift each month. Seems like every other state allows this. How come we cannot do this?? ID’s can be checked

This global pandemic has proven that removing restrictions on local businesses will ensure that they have the ability to adapt and thrive. Many other states have applied this to wine and beer sales. Perhaps Alabama could do the same in order to support the local wineries.

My husband and I just moved to Huntsville from Loudoun Co., Virginia, and are used to having hundreds of wineries to go to, along with having wine shipped to the house. It seems so odd to me(and disappointing) that I can no longer obtain the wines I love or even from Alabama itself! I joked with my husband this would be my goal after I moved here lol. I’m sure this is beneficial for Alabama’s economy too.

I live in an area that has a very limited wine selection so having the ability to order wine that I actually like is very important to me.

Wine delivery is such a huge thing. It is 2019, we do not live in prohibition, and Alabama really needs to catch up. More money spent = funneling economy. Plus ANY delivery service helps those without transportation, stay at home moms (who just about all enjoy a healthy glass of wine every once in a while).

I don't understand why I could buy it in California and fly home with it but can't get it shipped to me. Seems a little silly.

To be able to be in a wine of the month club would be oh so grand!
