Seeing this much momentum take hold is truly overwhelming and something I never could have imagined when I first started this. I am just a person who wanted to help, but you have all turned this into a real movement for Stephen. Thank you for showing that care for him is shared by so many.

Stephen needs support with his mental health issues. Incarceration will only lead to frustration, depression and repeat offending.

Steven is my brother in law.About time the health and justice ministers realise that repeated jailing of people with mental health issues, does no good!Support and help to get back to a stable life is what is needed. Not hidden in Prison.Enough.

To put a vulnerable adult who does not and cannot determine in his own capacity right from wrong should not be put in prison but rather custodial sentence in the mental facility that can help him! He is not a criminal! This is in humane! What about his human rights!

Why doesn't the system allow flexibility. Most people know Stephen for the gentle soul he is, he has a mental illness, which drinking is his way of coping wit it. He should be helped to understand his condition, and find alternatives, not slung in a prison cell!

Steve wouldnt hurt a fly & is harmless... Its disgraceful that a man that has fought for his country & has developed mental issues as a result, should be imprisened like this!!! Good Luck Steve. Were all behind you..

Our community needs to be more aware of both the disabled and those with metal issues. More awareness and support required as well as genuine empathy for the individual and his family.
