We, the undersigned community members, family, loved ones, and supporters, respectfully ask the Court to grant Jeremy Hyde, born June 19, 1977, release from custody or temporary medical furlough so he can receive proper, specialized cancer treatment in a suitable non-custodial medical setting.

Jeremy’s condition requires timely, comprehensive care that cannot be met adequately in custody. Cancer treatment often depends on close monitoring, specialized equipment, and regular appointments, and delays can put a person’s health and chance of recovery at greater risk. What Jeremy needs now is a setting where his medical care can be handled fully and without interruption.

He also has a strong network of family, friends, and community members who care deeply about his health and well-being. Those of us standing behind this request are ready to help ensure that he attends all required medical appointments and follows any court-ordered conditions. We are asking for a practical solution that protects both his medical needs and the Court’s requirements.

This petition is about humane treatment and urgent care. Jeremy should not have to go without the specialized help his condition demands simply because he is in custody. We respectfully request that the Court consider his serious medical condition and the support available to him, and authorize his immediate transfer to an outside medical facility or release under appropriate conditions so he can receive the cancer treatment he needs.
