- Taron “La Socket” Dickson is a rapper from Richmond, VA. He is a decorated high school athlete, a son, a father, a philanthropist, and a friend. His music inspires youths with backgrounds similar to his to become better young people. Some may consider his lyrics as glorification of a criminal lifestyle, however, if you look a little deeper it’s actually a testimony of how far he has come from where he could’ve been. It now somehow seems that because he did not end up dead, he has now ended up in jail. Despite his efforts to free the chains of poverty and break the systematic generational curses that terrorize people of color. Taron “La Socket” Dickson is INNOCENT until proven guilty in the court of law! So please sign this petition to have Governor Northam pardon his alleged crimes so that he can get back to empowering young minorities nationwide!!

Socket is a very great person. Rapping is just entertainment , I met him at the mall once and he paid for my shoes as well as giving a homeless man $50 standing outside the mall
This mane is a roll model to me even tho he portrays some crazy stuff in his music music and real life are 2 different things and what he does in real life for the youth is amazing
This is a case of stereotyping at best. He has a unbelievable talent and everyone assumes he's the person he raps about about instead of the father and friend that he is. Make one mistake or be popular and you are a target for Chesterfield. No matter who you are. Been there!
He is a greatly achieved hard working person in academics and athletics he is a good father and has had huge inspiration for young men in his city he raps for fun and uses his music to express his out look
I’ve known Taron since middle school in Lucille Brown, very chill guy, he deserves a chance to prove himself after these false allegations against him.

Please reconsider the incarceration sentence for Toron Dickson as he is a devoted member of the Richmond, VA community. He also plays a part in outstanding charitable contributions which is ample proof Mr.Dickson benefits society in a positive manner itself.
