We the undersigned voters and residents of the Town of Herndon respectfully request that political committees refrain from endorsing candidates for elective office in the Town of Herndon, including Mayor and Town Council, for the November 2020 general election. Please respect and support our political independence.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the momentum we are seeing right now. This response belongs entirely to you and your commitment to keeping our local elections independent. Thank you for showing me that so many others care about this as much as I do.

Enough with the party endorsements. Its supposed to be about the actual candidates and their plans for the town.
It says non-partisan for a reason. Tired of these committees trying to influence everything.
Stop the interference already.
YES. Leave the national junk at the door. Herndon needs to focus on Herndon stuff.
Our charter matters. Why are they ignoring the rules? Let the voters decide based on local issues not what some committee says.
