Bridget Anne Kelly of Ramsey New Jersey ( Former Deputy Chief of Staff to Gov. Christie ) has been sentenced to 18 months in prison and 500 hours of community service for her role in the Gov. Chris Christie " BridgeGate " scandal. David Wildstein ( Former Director of the Port Authority and a Christie appointment ) has testified under oath that he was indeed the architect of the BridgeGate episode and that Gov. Christie was indeed aware and complicit in it's execution. Prosecutors declined to charge the sitting Governor under the Official Misconduct Statute. Judge Susan Wigenton ruled to release David Wildstein from any incarceration because of his cooperative testimony regardless of the fact that his testimony regarding Gov. Christie was ignored by the prosecution. Ms. Kelly , a single mother of four and a first offender , yields nowhere near the amount of power as her former boss or Mr. Wildstein. We seek mercy for Ms. Kelly whether it's a Pardon , a Suspension of Sentence , Probation or additional Community Service.
