For a large amount of last year, it was decided that I did not qualify for free, OR REDUCED, lunch. This was difficult for our family given that my mom, as a single parent, makes less than 19,000 dollars a year. On top of that, she works 4+ jobs at a time just to afford our bills. Free lunch has greatly helped our family, because without it, I may not be able to eat lunch everyday. Though we always figure it out, this accommodation has lifted some weight off of my families shoulders.

We should have free lunch because so many families are struggling with money. Giving their kids money to eat at school doesn’t help. It should be the schools job to supply us with food for free.

For all the students in financial trouble, this would be a huge operation to get breakfast and lunch free for those kids to have the ability to eat meals for free daily and not have to spend any money. Students with rough backgrounds can't afford to buy breakfast or lunch everyday, at some point it gets wicked costly.

Many families are struggling with money, So many kids sit in my lunch with no food. It's sad to see.

I think this petition is justified. some kids don't qualify for free lunch, but still struggle to afford to pay. i think this could be a very good thing

I buy lunch for needy students on a daily basis as I work in the Lunchroom at KRHS. The students are hungry. Not everyone has Money.

Not every family wants to be paying 5 dollars everyday for their kids lunch and breakfast.
