To the French Embassy,

This petition has been prepared due to the numerous cases of rejection of Iranian student visa applications based on articles 5,4, and 2 in the last two weeks for the academic year 2022-2023.

We, the signatories of this statement, are a group of student visa applicants for postgraduate courses as well as for French language courses to prepare for entering the university, who have gone through the process of obtaining admission from the most prestigious French universities. We hope to continue studying in France and we have tried to make our academic file as fruitful as possible. But unfortunately, our visa application has been rejected citing articles 5,4, and 2. Most cases are rejected based on article 5. We believe that this paragraph is related to the issue of housing.

We object to the embassy's lack of transparency in notifying us of the reason for rejecting our student visa application. We want to be aware of the defect in our case so that we can fix it. Among the rejected applications, there are all kinds of valid housing certificates and even French CROUS student residences. Has there been a problem with these housing certificates? Is there something we are not aware of?

Considering that we have prepared all the visa application documents according to the embassy's [albeit vague] criteria, we feel worthy to at least know the reason for the rejection of our case. If the French student visa process for Iranian students has been stopped, or if there has been a change in the visa application documents, we demand clear information because it is a human right to be able to make an informed decision.

In the end, we ask you to please consider our request as an urgent matter.

Regards,
