Seeing the growing momentum behind this call for change brings a heavy but necessary comfort. It is clear that many other families have endured this same silence and pain. We are building a collective recognition that the expertise of those who know and love a person must be respected when lives are at stake.

Total incompetence. If a parent says their child is a danger listen to them. Period.
HEARING YOU LOUD AND CLEAR. THIS HAPPENED TO MY BROTHER TOO. THEY JUST IGNORED US UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.
Doctors need to start taking family concerns seriously instead of just checking a box. My heart goes out to you.
This hits way to close to home. The system is completely broken and families are paying the price. So sorry for what you went through.
i am so incredibly sorry for your loss. it is criminal that they didnt listen to you. parents know their own kids better than any doctor ever could.

The doctors really think they know better but they see people for ten minutes. They have no idea what goes on day to day. Things have to change now.
