This proposal does not consider existing residents and will block light and cause unnecessary pressure on local services. There is no requirement in this area for more student flats and this space should be used instead to provide housing for Wandsworth residents.

The proposed development would completely ruin my apartment and block most if not all natural light from entering. The developers have given no regard for the current buildings and residents. Not to mention student accommodation is not part of the housing directive for home building and would add further strain to a small street (Sleaford) with transient residents.

This development is clearly not taking into account the impact to the local community or neighbors, the loss of light that Viridian Apartment will face is not taken into account, the massive buildings, blocking light, adding large amount of people to already stretched area, is clearly ignored in the original proposal but even the not relevant amendments they have submitted, which solve nothing of the key issues The proposed development introduces an excessive number of buildings and will result in an influx to the local population for which the infrastructure cannot support. Health services are already stretched and transport options very busy already. There will be increased traffic congestion leading to worsening air pollution impacting the health and wellbeing of local residents, especially children with several schools located locally. It will result in loss of natural light for the existing buildings and alter the skyline creating an imposing structure which is not in keeping with the surrounding area. Furthermore, these proposed buildings will overshadow the affordable housing nearby and result in segregation of the social housing within the community. The accommodation for students is unjustified as it does not meet a local need with no universities in the vicinity and will cause a significant increase in population and unlikely to lead to long term investment in the area with transient residents. This development will result in an environment that feels unsustainable and unsafe for both current and future residents.

I oppose the proposed plans which will severely impact the area, noise, light and property values.

Please, we do not want it. It will cover the sunshine and cause overcrowding and too much noise. This is a family area and we do not need noise from students

I moved to this neighborhood two years ago because it offered a sense of peace that I couldn’t find elsewhere in London. The balance of green spaces, local shops, and a quiet, residential feel made it the perfect escape from the busy city. But this new development feels like it’s going to completely destroy that. The idea of three massive high-rises, filled with hundreds of new residents, all on top of each other. It’s overwhelming!. I chose to live here because it wasn’t like the overcrowded, impersonal parts of the city, but now it seems like that’s exactly what it will become. I work long hours and rely on my home as a place to recharge, but I fear that once this development goes up, the constant noise, the crowds, and the sheer volume of people will make it impossible to find peace here anymore
