We respectfully request the reinstatement of exam remediations for the Mental Health course in Cohort 1225. While we were informed of other course changes at the start of the semester, there was no communication regarding the removal of remediations or changes in syllabus grade distribution percentages. We also ask that remediation opportunities be consistently offered through graduation for all cohorts that have previously had access, to ensure fairness and academic continuity.

Not down for Joyce to do a money grab by taking away something that was previously agreed upon.

These remediations are not only a chance for students to raise their exam grades, but they also give students the chance to gain a better understanding of the material they may be struggling with. This furthers student's knowledge, so they have a higher likelihood of passing the NCLEX and becoming a better nurse.

I believe it is counterproductive and discouraging to alter the curriculum mid-year, especially when it involves removing a resource that directly supports students in preparing for the NCLEX. Such changes not only disrupt the learning process but can also create the impression that administrative decisions are misaligned with the primary goal of helping students successfully graduate and pass the NCLEX. I urge the administration to consider the impact on student outcomes and to prioritize consistency and support in curriculum planning.

As a current RN with a bachelors degree, 6years of experience - 4 of which are in critical care, I believe this is an inefficient way to approach teaching nursing.

I don’t think it’s appropriate to change curriculum mid school year especially to take away something that has helped students prepare for the NCLEX and can be detrimental to their ability to pass classes or maintain expected GPAs

Remediation was promised when we started the program. We have Remediations for all classes EXCEPT mental health.
