Dear Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, I made this petition to try and get James Owen Sullivan (The Reverend Tholomew Plague) inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. I feel(and I'm sure people across the world feel the same way) that he deserves it. I will never give up on this. I will not stop untill he is inducted. Come on people lets get James Owen Sullivan better known as The Reverend Tholomew Plague or The Rev(The drummer of Avenged Sevenfold) inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. He may not be the best drummer in the world but he was certainly the best in his field of music. As well as being an amazing drummer he did vocals for the band Pinkly Smooth and later backup vocals for the band Avenged Sevenfold. As well as singing and drumming he wrote and helped write the lyrics for a lot of the Avenged Sevenfold songs. Jimmy was found dead in his home on December 28, 2009 at the age of 28. He died from an acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of oxycodone, oxymorphone, diazepam, nordiazepam and alcohol. He had the most likable personality ever. Jimmy was an extremely humble Down-To-earth person and was always doing something crazy. He touched the hearts of millions with his insane drumming, meaningful lyrics and beautiful voice. The Rev was the idol for many rock fans. When he was growing up he would always get in trouble. He was even arrested a few times. But even though society looked down on him he turned his life around completely and became one of the best drummers of all time. Which is why people like me who have been in trouble with the law or messed up in their past and society looks down on you look up to the Rev for inspiration. Because of The Rev I have started to turn my life around and I'm sure others have as well. He showed me that no matter what everyone else thinks as long as i believe in myself i can succeed. I've always been a die-hard Avenged Sevenfold and Jimmy Sullivan fan and ever since his death I've been trying to keep my loved ones close and live everyday like it could be my last because you never know if you or a loved one will die tomorrow, so you have to Seize The Day. The day his body was found I made a promise to my loved ones, Myself and Jimmy that i would never give up on my goals. This year(2010) he won the best drummer award at the Revolver Golden Gods award ceremony. So please sign this petition and spread it to the world. Help me get James Owen Sullivan inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Not just because he was an amazing Drummer, songwriter and singer but because he was and still is an inspiration for millions of people around the world. Thank you for your time.
