We thought it would be a great idea to enhance the customer experience by providing a place for local food trucks on weekends, but, unfortunately the Town of Ridgefield passed an ordinance prohibiting new food truck permits throughout the town. We respect their decision, but we feel that our location and our business model do not implicate the concerns that the Town had when they enacted the ban. We are seeking to have an exception built into the regulation that would allow us to provide a better experience for our customers and a safe place for food trucks to be part of the Nod Hill experience. If you support us, please sign our petition.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS PETITION IS ONLY OPEN TO RIDGEFIELD RESIDENTS.

So the town of Ridgefield would rather have people drink and drive on an empty stomach? Food is key when enjoying a few craft beers.

Food trucks at this location is a great idea. There are some great food trucks in town that have nowhere to go, and this establishment needs food. It’s a perfect pairing and would be wonderful!

Food trucks would enhance the NOD HILL experience as well as making brewery visits safer with having real food available for consumption. I do not think that a Food Truck would affect the business of any local eateries on the Rt 7 side of town.

The town should provide a mechanism whereby food trucks can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. This location is a no-brainer as it is off-road and basically secluded.

This is exactly why the ordinance has an exception. Zero impact on Main Street, but great for a local business as many breweries invite food trucks. I'm sure the town can word the exception so only the Nod Hill site is available to trucks.

The ordinance is a good thing which protects in-town restaurants, but your situation and location should exempt you from such an ordinance.

Ridgefield should be business friendly. This prohibition is ridiculous.
