The Jersey City food truck operators have joined forces on this issue because we wholeheartedly believe that as small business owners we are contributing to the greater good of our local community while offering customers diversity in their daily food options.
This petition will be presented on August 25, 2010 to Jersey City's Elected Officials in an effort to create permanent food vending areas.

Jersey city is supposed to be a city of culture and food. Why are you guys trying to kill the best trucks we have?
PLEASE leave them alone. I work right by exchange place and the food trucks are literally the only affordable option around here.
The food trucks are the only good thing about my lunch break downtown. Stop harassing these small businesses it makes no sense.
Fix the parking rules. Taking away the trucks just makes the area boring and hurts the workers who need a quick bite.
so tired of all the red tape. these trucks bring life to the streets just let them park somewhere reasonable.

Please move the trucks back to grand st these trucks were fine where they were. These trucks were were helping to fuel foot traffic for other businesses and this will hurt places like Hudson green market.
