Dear Florida State Representatives, Senators and Governor Crist,
We the undersigned, ask that you protect our right to choose who we want to do business with. We are tax-paying, voting adults, fully capable of making our own decisions about what we are willing to pay for the product and service we desire to purchase. We do not now, nor have we ever, needed you, or the Office of Insurance Regulation, telling us who we CANNOT have as our auto insurance carrier. Do not support any attempt to require insurance companies to sell "all or nothing". You have already made a mess of the property insurance business in Florida, please leave auto insurance alone.
We will "vote" with our dollars for the company we think is best. We will likewise, cast our ballot in future elections for the public servants who finally come to the realization that their job is to make the tough decisions based on what is truly in the best interest of the citizens of this state instead of what is most politically expedient. What is best for Florida's citizens is healthy competition between financially strong companies.
The Office of Insurance Regulation remains silent on our demands but they are definitely tracking our progress. Call your local representative today and tell them that we refuse to let them dictate our auto insurance choices. Post this link on your Facebook page so we can turn up the pressure on Tallahassee.

The momentum behind this petition is undeniable and shows that Floridians are tired of having their choices restricted. Now is the time to turn this pressure into action by emailing your state representative today. Demand they protect our right to choose our own auto insurance carriers.

The rates are already sky high here in FL. Don't make it worse by forcing us into one company. Keep the competition alive.

FL politics at its finest. Making everything more complicated and expensive for no reason. Fix the roads instead of worrying about my car insurance.

Seriously stay out of my wallet. We are adults we can pick our own insurance. Leave it alone.
